Join me on a journey to Payson, nestled in the scenic Utah County, where I had the pleasure of photographing a heartwarming newborn session. This special occasion involved capturing the precious moments shared between a baby girl and her adoring big brother. The session unleashed my creativity, resulting in one of my favorite images of the year so far. Let's dive into the details of this unforgettable experience. This little lady was my newborn photography model from my 2022 giveaway. I was able to try out some new things with her including several photos with her and her older brother. I'm so grateful for the opportunity because I am in love with how these photos turned out. It is just so beautiful to see this sibling bond. We also got mom and dad in a photo with a precious hands hugging the baby photo. I was of course able to do lots of floral photos too, which is something I always love to do. The warm and intimate setting of the family's home in Payson, Utah County, set the stage for this extraordinary newborn photography session. It provided a comfortable and personal backdrop, allowing the family to relax and embrace the session with ease. Being able to capture these precious memories in the familiar environment of their home is one of the joys of my work as a Utah County newborn photographer.
The highlight of the session was undoubtedly the beautiful bond between the baby girl and her big brother. Witnessing their connection and documenting their interactions filled the air with love and tenderness. The magic of sibling love was brought to life through the lens, creating images that will forever remind the family of this precious chapter in their lives. Creativity knows no bounds in newborn photography, and this session was no exception. Exploring various poses, props, and lighting techniques, I sought to create something truly extraordinary. The pinnacle of this artistic exploration resulted in one of my favorite images of the year. The image captures the pure innocence and captivating beauty of the newborn stage, leaving a lasting impression and evoking heartfelt emotions. In conclusion, the Payson newborn photography session was a celebration of love and new beginnings. The intimate setting, the sibling bond, and the freedom to unleash creativity all came together to create an unforgettable experience. As a Utah County newborn photographer, I am privileged to be a part of these cherished moments and document the journey of growing families in the captivating Utah Valley. This little angel was my first baby of the year! Little Camila was due on Christmas but born a few days later and I came to play at the beginning of January. We even got her big brother to play for a short time but as a rambunctious two year old he wasn't super interested in staying put.
Camila is such a blessing to her family. She is a rainbow baby. Her family had to deal with quite a lot of hardships before she was born. Her mom said she wouldn't mind if I shared some of their story: Their first pregnancy was quite difficult as the mom suffered from hypermesis gravidarum, but it was worth it when their son was born. A while later they became pregnant again and although it wasn't expected so soon after the birth of their first child the little family was thrilled to have their family grow and to have the siblings close together. Shortly after they announced their pregnancy to their family they got devastating news about someone in their family. Camila's grandpa had been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal lung cancer. A few weeks later Camila's mom started feeling miscarriage symptoms and after having an ultrasound the doctor confirmed that the baby had passed. After recovering physically from the miscarriage Camila's family decided they weren't ready to actively try again for a baby as the loss was very painful but they would just wait to see what happened. Camila's mom became pregnant again soon after and the family was so happy to have this blessing. Shortly after finding out they were pregnant their family found out that grandpa was actually misdiagnosed with cancer: he actually had something less deadly called valley fever. Two miracles!! Camila's mom said "2018 was the greatest and worst year of our lives." I am so happy for them and that they let me capture these special moments and got to share their rainbow after the storm.
